Wearable Technology – Heapsylon’s Sensoria Fitness Smart Socks

Posted August 1, 2013 by .Omar Correa in News

Fitness enthusiasts, runners and all consumers should take a look at this new wearable technology for your feet invented by Redmond, Washington start-up Heapsylon, Sensoria Fitness Smart Socks, that feature an electronic magnetic anklet that tracks activity and communicates data to external devices like a smart phone.  The app acts as a virtual coach, the activity tracker analyzes where runners land on their feet, how they stride, and can help them reach their goals while lessening injuries.

The Heapsylon team is currently seeking crowd-funding support and consumers have ordered over five hundred pairs in the first few weeks of the campaign. Support them on IndieGogo.com through August 15.
